Mission: Motherhood
Rewrite the script. Reclaim your story.
This isn’t just a memoir. It’s a roadmap for women ready to build a family on their own terms. From fertility clinics to courtrooms, Mission: Motherhood walks you through the raw truth of what it takes to create life outside the lines. I share how I navigated heartbreak, healthcare failures, and a groundbreaking legal battle over donor-conceived parenting in Texas—so you don’t have to walk this alone.
Inside, you’ll find:
Real stories of resilience, loss, and healing
Hard-earned lessons on fertility, custody, and solo parenting
Emotional tools to help you feel seen, supported, and in control
This is the book I wish I had when I started.
It won’t hand you the answers. But it will give you the strength to ask better questions and write your own version of motherhood.
Book Reviews
Forget the Fairy Tale. This Is the Truth About Becoming a Mom on Your Own Terms.
Your biological clock’s ticking. Society says: Find the guy. Get the ring. Then have the baby. But what if Prince Charming never shows up?
Does that mean your dream of motherhood expires with him?
I didn’t think so. I stopped waiting. I got clear. And I built the family I dreamed of without waiting for permission.
Mission: Motherhood is my unfiltered story of what it really takes to create a family outside the “normal” route. From boardrooms to fertility clinics, from foster care to a Texas courtroom—my path wasn’t pretty, but it was mine.
This book is for every woman who:
Feels the pressure of time while building a career
Wonders if she has to wait for “Mr. Right”
Is tired of the rules, the shame, and the outdated roadmap
Questions if she’s too late, too old, or too single
This isn’t just a memoir. It’s a mirror. It’s a reminder that you’re not broken you’re just ready to do things differently.
You don’t need a fairy tale. You need a plan, a little courage, and the truth.
This book is a damn good place to start.
About The Author
I built a career in tech and marketing, but no boardroom win ever quieted the voice inside me that wanted to be a mom. That longing pulled me through foster care, fertility treatments, anonymous donors, devastating loss, and even a headline-making custody battle in Texas.
Today, I use that experience to guide other women. I’m a Speaker and as a certified life coach and founder of Cheri’s Choice, I help women explore all their options and create the family they’ve dreamed of without waiting for “perfect” circumstances.
I live in Austin, Texas, with my beautifully blended, completely unconventional family. And I’m here to prove: you don’t need a prince to live out your purpose: just a plan, some grit, and the guts to write your own story.
